That American election

I’m not into politics.

Wait, that’s not true. I’m into politics just enough to get the jokes on topical comedy shows. Much to my shame, I probably know more about the American election, and their politicians, than I do about our recent election in June. I think it’s because in American elections, the gloves come off. They’re so confrontational and take it so personally. What do we do? Have civilized discussions of the issues.

For what it’s worth, I agree almost completely with Tim Bray’s post on the subject.

But the real reason for this post is to point to this short movie on what happened to Bush in the last 10 years. Fascinating. (You’ll need Quicktime)
